Today is Wednesday and it's time to show off
our work desk again!
Here's a shot of my messy work area.
Can you believe that this is already a
cleaned up version?
I spent some time culling my magazines
and newspapers strewn on the floor
during the weekend because
I was fed up with having to either
step on them or over them!
This is my journal page for today.
1 Corinthians 3:9 is one of my
favorite bible verses.
I like to think of myself as one of
God's flowers in His beautiful garden!
Of course if we are to bloom,
the gardener prunes us.
Removing dead leaves,
brown spots and the like,
things that suck away life,
will enable new life to sprout.
It's like cleaning up and organizing!
You see new things,
(oh, so this is where it got to!),
you get a new perspective,
you feel freer, livelier,
more inspired,
ready to do more!

I do love visiting your desk, always so encouraging.
ReplyDeleteHi Patsy - I like the thought of being a flower in God's garden. I love this saying that God's love is like the Amazon river coming down to water one flower - so this analogy appeals to me. Thank you again for linking up with my winsome Wednesday bloghop. I love coming back over for a visit with you
ReplyDeleteGod bless

It is good to remember that to grow and flourish we do need to prune things from our lives that prevent us from doing just that. I adore your work. It is lovely and inspiring.
ReplyDeleteLoving your desk this week and Lol to the fact that the picture was taken after a clear up.
ReplyDeleteI must admit that when I tidy it doesn’t take it long to get back to the same state either, so you’re not alone.
