Bounty of Blessings

“...whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.” 2 Corinthians 9:6

Yesterday my niece got married. She and her fiancé got engaged 5 months ago, and since then have been in a whirlwind of planning. For months we wrapped them and their plans in prayer. August is such a rainy month and we continuously prayed for fine weather for the wedding day. Even if the weather forecast said 98% rain, and even if it had been continuously raining in Nasugbu the past days, yesterday’s weather was perfect. It was cool and the sun was out. All the plans went well, and we all enjoyed the celebration. So many big happy smiles. 

Yes we can sow prayers, and if we sow bountifully, we will also reap bountifully. That’s why we should always wrap our families, friends, our work, our Church, and our country in prayers. We can expect to reap a bounty of blessings. That is what God promises and we should believe it!
