WOYWW: Do NOT be Afraid!

What's on my Workdesk at 5 in the morning?

Take a look and see if you can spot my cellphone,

a styrofoam piece I've cut up to make stamps, 

glue, paints, and a dirty water container!

Here are some of the styrofoam stamps I made yesterday.

I used them to make backgrounds for my paintings.

Yesterday we had a deluge! 

Torrential rains attacked our city and the surrounding areas!

90% flooded!

No school, no work. Everything on standstill.

While making my backgrounds,

I was praying and monitoring the situation on the TV,

on Facebook, on Twitter, and from text messages.

We were praying for a family stuck 

on the 2nd floor of their house,

because the flood waters rose.

Although the rescue teams contacted them,

it was to say that they couldn't come,

the current was too strong!

So we prayed and prayed that the rains would stop

so the waters would not keep rising!

This morning, the text said that

they are OK and they are soo thankful 

for their 2nd floor!

"It is I; do not be afraid." Matthew 14:27

This was the reading yesterday.

Although storms may come,

we should trust in the Lord!

"O woman, great is your faith.

Let it be done for you as you wish."

If we keep our faith, trust and hope in Him,

our prayers will be answered!
