Do not be Afraid!

"Do not be afraid to take Mary home

as your wife..." Matthew 1:20-21

This is what an angel said to Joseph

because Joseph was about to divorce her

when she found out she was pregnant.

What a traumatic time for both of them.

I do not know how they could have felt peace at this time.

But yet, they did, when they listened to the Lord

and obeyed.

I am sure I have not had any experience in my life

close to this challenge,

but I can follow their example.

When there are trials and challenges that

look like mountains I cannot traverse,

I can listen to the Lord

and He will be my strength and guide! 

To listen well to the Lord,

we have to get rid of the "old yeast"- SIN!

This is what keeps us from hearing the Lord,

and abiding in Him! 

Is there a challenge in your life you are facing?

Listen to the Lord!

He will never disappoint us!
