WOYWW: Seeing Miracles

What's on my Workdesk Wednesday?
When I see my desk through your eyes
I am always shocked!
 I woke up to this-
silicone sealant for a project I hope to experiment on,
Streams in the Desert, one of my
favorite morning meditations,
a roll of toilet paper to make faces with,
a glass of a slice of lemon to make water alkaline,
and all my other stuff which spells m-e-s-s!

When I put all that away,
I started reading Matthew 15:21-28
about the woman who pleaded with Jesus
to exorcise her daughter.
At first Jesus was hesitant, but she
paid Him homage, knelt down and worshipped Him.

She called Him Lord.
When she declared that she knew who He was,
confessed these truths about Him,
He said, "O woman, great is your faith.
Let it be DONE for you as you wish!"

Do we need something from God?
We should remind ourselves of who He is!
Then we can approach Him with confidence and faith.

Like St. Peter in 2 Peter 1:16,
we too can be EYEWITNESSES of God's power!
Peter saw Jesus perform many miracles.

I believe that we too can see miracles,
REAL miracles!
We just need to believe and be persistent!

We are ALL valuable to God!
We are precious to Him!
He cannot deny us-
He came so we may have fullness of life!

What a wonderful blessing
that we can be like a child when
 we approach Him.
He is our Father after all!

Every week I choose one wonderful visitor
who leaves a comment
to receive an ATC from me.
I know it takes so much time and effort
to leave a comment
and I appreciate it soooo much!

This week,
Random.org chose
#3, La Abela , a woman who talks to herself,
as she claims, and draws amazingly
with charcoal and graphite.

  17. Great stuff Patsy. How true that we are SO valuable to God. He loves us so much. He knew us from the before the beginning of the world. Doesn't that give us a glorious picture. Imagine Him, with Jesus and the Holy Spirit, before anything else, saying "I'm going to make Patsy just like this" You are a dear female Son of God.
    have a great week.

  19. Patsy, all of your paintings are really gorgeous! I love the coordination of beautiful art with the scripture. I am puzzled about the toilet paper for faces. Also, isn't lemon is acidic? What does that do to the water you use?

  25. Oh, and I forgot to tell you that 'Streams in the Desert' has been one of my constant companions, next to God's Word and the guiding of the Holy Spirit. I wish it was still being published as it is very hard to find copies of that book anymore.
