who delights in the law of the Lord
and meditates on His law
day and night...
He is like a tree planted by streams of water

and its leaf does not wither,
whatever He does prospers."

What a wonderful picture these verses describe-
Blessed, happy is the man or woman
who delights, takes pleasure in,
joyfully reads and tries to
understand scripture!
If he or she meditates on God's words,
reflects, contemplates,
thinks about what it means,
then whatever he or she does,
will prosper, thrive, flourish, be successful!
He is like a tree planted beside
running water, it will never lack water.
It will bear abundant fruit
and its leaves will never turn brown.
I suppose everyone wants to thrive
in whatever he or she sets out to do-
and here lies the secret!
