Thank You Giveaway!

What's going on in my craft nook? Here's a look at what I've been doing this weekend- usually my schedule is so packed, I can't start anything new! But I had one leisurely Saturday so I've almost finished my two commissions, finished my garden collage for my OWOH winner (I know, I know, this took a looong time!), 4 ATCs and started my Madonna of the Flowers. That's my messy desk on top. Plus I was able to get a haircut!

I'm soooo happy, and because I'm so happy, I decided to give away my Ladies with the Necklaces series of ATCs which I finished yesterday. Let's see if anybody wants them! Of course all my followers automatically get a chance because I'm super thrilled they actually want to follow me even if they're not my relatives (well, one is!) No, I'll give my wonderful followers 3 chances each just because they make me feel really special and they push me to post even without saying anything!! All comments below this post get a chance each if they answer the question: "What did you do this weekend?" It doesn't have to be a creative deed, I just want to know what you've been up to! Be sure you have an email address so I can contact you! If I get a lot of comments, I'm sure I'll be inspired to make some more giveaways! I'll put your names in the hat by the second weekend of April.
Here are the 4 ATCs I made yesterday, painted on bookpaper. They each have a chain necklace.

  5. I attended the 50th birthday party of a college friend. I had a great time because the food was from Tokyo Tokyo, there were games, audio visual presentations, honoring of the birthday boy, and of course blowing of not one but two birthday cakes! I went home past 12 midnight already.

I want in, too!! I cleaned off my desk in the back office; I journaled; I watched old movies with my daughter; and I took a nap and dreamt of my daddy (my guardian angel dear). Lovin' the Madonna with the flowers...

  16. I actually just stopped by to say Happy Easter and found these lovely ladies. Your art is always amazing. Don't worry. I took over a month with one of my OWOH winners, and she was totally understanding.

I'm finding ways to recycle, reuse, repurpose this month. Doing it on my blog, too. Again, Happy Easter.

  17. What beautiful cards! Last weekend I taught a class, painted with my daughter, watched my baby crawl all around, and tried to not be too overwhelmed:-) I probably will do the same this weekend- with some Easter baskets and bunnies thrown in.

  19. Yes, please add me to the list to win.

I went shopping for some new walking athletic shoes. I went to this new store where they put you on a treadmill first and watch you walk so they can see what type of shoe would work best for you. I left there understanding alot more about my stride. I took my sister with me, so we also shopped, ate and just had fun doing girly stuff.
