I took this at about 5 in the morning,
after my prayer time.
As you can see, I can pray, work, whatever,
on top of piles of paper!
This is what's beneath my journal:
studies of birds.
I don't know how many birds I've drawn!
Finally, I went on pinterest
and got inspiration from the many
feathered friends I saw there!
I need to draw a bird for the unfinished painting
you can see in this post!
My reading was about how
Saint Paul would recount what happened to him.
"On that journey as I drew near to Damascus,
about noon a great light from the sky
suddenly shone around me.
I fell to the ground and heard a voice
saying to me, "Saul, Saul,
why are you persecuting me?"
St. Paul, the great LION of God,
had an amazing faith journey!
As I reflect on my faith journey,
I realize that God does not send us out
without equipping us for the tasks He wants us to do.
"Each of us may be sure that if God
sends us on stony paths,
He will provide us with strong shoes,
and he will not send us out on any journey
for which He does not equip us well."

ReplyDeleteMust tell you a funny story. My friend here in America got a 30% off card for Joannes last week and lost it. She was then told by another friend that it was God's way of telling us we should not buy any more, we had enough stuff.
ReplyDeleteGreat artwork in your journal, love that last page.
Thanks for commenting on my blog - sorry I am so late but lots of friends keep coming to see me and then tonight I did an English Dinner. Hugs, Neet #6
I'm amazed that most of pinterest doesn't contain YOUR drawings!! I love the bird studies, and now I can only wonder at what other pieces birds will turn up on in your working. My word Patsy, you get up earlier than I do, I'm starting to slacken too, since Mr D doesn't start work so early!
ReplyDeleteI love the beautiful birds on your desk!
ReplyDeleteHappy WOYWW!
