This is what I drew this morning
while waiting for a "phone patch"
interview about our business.
This is one of the virgins in the parable Jesus told
to the disciples in Matthew 25:1-13.
He said the Kingdom of Heaven could be compared
to the ten virgins waiting for the bridegroom.
Five of them were ready but five of them
did not bring oil for their torches.
What do you think happened?
Five of the maidens were ready to go with the bridegroom
when he arrived but the five foolish ones
had to leave to buy some oil
and were left outside.
This parable is about the end times
when Jesus will come again.
There are many who think the end is near.
Even the disciples were thinking the end was near
and that was 2000 years ago!
Even if the end is near or not,
one thing is sure!
Each one of us will die
and that is OUR end for us!!
Are we ready?
Are we prepared?
Do we have oil for our torches?

ReplyDeleteYes beautiful sentiments as well as your work is just awesome. I believe that when we die, it will be our beginning. I don't believe it's the end. There is more to it than this world. :) Have a wonderful day and love your work.
