Take Courage

 

"In the world, you will have trouble, but take courage, I have conquered the world." John 16:33

My sisters and I have an intercessory list where we enumerate all those who have asked for prayers, and even those who have not. It is quite long and getting longer all the time. 

There are so many babies and children on our list who are seriously sick.  Then there are those with different kinds of cancer, a father who has been bedridden for 8 years, young people with serious mental health issues. I can go on and on and I don’t even have to look far as I am also dealing with a complex health condition. 

Oh, lots of challenges and trials assail us from all sides. But Jesus said , “Take Courage." Bring it along with you! Do not leave it behind!

Take Hope! Take Perseverance! Take all that you need... after all, Jesus is with us on  the journey, and He said that He will never leave us!
