Whoa! It's Wednesday again,
and time for our weekly smorgasbord
of desks and creative projects
(or not!)
Here's my desk and you can see some
handcarved stamps,
which I made especially
for a commissioned painting.
You can see a blurry picture of it here.
It's almost finished.
hope to get it done soooooner than soon!
And here is the background
I am starting with this morning.
Ephesians 3 is all about the
"inscrutable riches of Christ",
and how St. Paul was "to bring to light
the plan of the mystery hidden
from ages past in God
who created all things,
so that the manifold wisdom of God
might be made known..."
Isn't that intriguing?
"Inscrutable"
means impossible to understand
or to interpret,
mysterious, or impenetrable!
But here St. Paul claims he was
given the assignment to REVEAL this
inscrutable treasure!
This mystery that has been
hidden,
this wisdom that has been
hard to understand,
is now available to us...
through the letters St. Paul wrote!
Yesterday I read from Luke 12:37,
"Blessed are those servants
whom the master finds vigilant."
We are those servants,
and we can only be vigilant
if we know what we are watching out for!
Let us keep our light burning!
Let us read this inscrutable treasure,
this mystery at our fingertips,
this wisdom waiting to be discovered.
I think that's exciting, don't you?
Every week I choose one wonderful
visitor who leaves a comment
to receive an ATC from me.
I know how much time and effort
it takes to leave a comment!
and I appreciate that soooo much!
This week Random Generator
chose #64, Denise of Shorty Bear's Place.
Join her in her heartful journeys.
I'm also sending Nancy of Maddalee
an ATC for being my
500th GFC follower.
Visit her blog for colorful
printables and projects.
Joining the lovely Julia for a
peek at desks and projects!
I love blog parties!
Won't you join us?

ReplyDeleteHi Patsy,
ReplyDeleteI didn't link up this week as I'm afraid I don't have time to visit all of those that I should. But I had to come visit to see your art and hear your message today.
I hope you reveal your commissioned piece, if you can. I like the idea of the blurry photo to give us a little sneak peak!
Hugs,
Kay
As usual, I like all your pieces. However, my favorite is the Ephesians piece with the lady with the long black hair. Blessings!
