WOYWW: You Know Me!

I am stuck in bad with a cough that sounds
like the barking of a dog. :^(
And so my desk is my bed.
I did not wake up early,
I have not started any drawing
and my head is fuzzy wuzzy.
But WOYWW cannot be missed. :^)

This is what I drew yesterday
after I read from Psalm 139.
"O Lord, you have probed me,
and you know me.
You know when I sit and when I stand;
you understand my thoughts from afar.
My journeys and my rest; you scrutinize,
with all my ways you are familiar."

Yes God knows us better than we know ourselves!
He knows our idiosyncracies, our faults and failures,
our weaknesses, but He also knows our gifts,
our strengths, our potential.
He knows our capabilities and like
a mother eagle who teaches her young how to fly
when it is time, so does our God
allow us to endure challenges for a good purpose.
Ultimately, it boils down to TRUST.

Every week I choose one wonderful visitor
who leaves a comment
to receive an ATC from me.
I know it takes so much time and effort
to leave a comment
and I appreciate it soooo much!

This week,
Random.org chose
 #18, Belinda of Belinda's Crafts.
Visit her to see her pretty cards!

  7. I hope you get to feeling better soon. It seems there's a lot of that going around.

I tried to leave a message five times last week, and once Sunday night when you posted to CED. But for some reason, your blog freezes up when I post anything. So, tonight I copied your URL (on paper), shut my computer down, and restarted. Before I went anywhere else on the web, I came here and typed in your blog address.

It still HUNG up, but at least it didn't freeze up (knock on wood) and now I just hope I don't lose the comment because I need to sign in before it goes to you.

NO, I have NOT received your ATC yet. I would never leave anyone hanging and not let them know I got something. Sorry if you thought I had and was avoiding you, because that is NOT the case, dear.

Now, wish me luck, because I really don't want to have to type this again (grin). And thanks for the visit, too.

  9. Oh Patsy! I am sorry you aren't feeling well. Coughing is so exhausting, painful, annoying and flat out not acceptable. So we must get you well. I think peeking at desks of all these amazing people will help!

I love the diversity in your art. I like them all.

Thanks for visiting me. You were my first visitor this week.

    Have a blessed day!

  26. I hope you feel better soon - a nasty cough is so debilitating, bed is definitely the best place to be. I love seeing your bed 'kit'...and of course, the beauty of your bible inspired artwork is not one jot altered by the limited supplies.

  33. I trust you are feeling much better by now, Patsy. It's taking me forever to get round this week - however - I love that Psalm - God knows me, He knows my name, and has done so since BEFORE the creation of the world. Fabulous!!! Not only does He know me - He LOVES me - with all my ups, downs, ins, outs, faults, gifts... amazing!
Enjoy the rest of the week.
