On my desk this morning
is a notebook I am decorating.
It's a gift for a friend whose birthday was
a couple of days ago.
On the right side is my "Magic Book"
as my sister Peggy calls it.
It contains stuff I can use to
embellish notebooks, scrapbooks, cards, etc.
I like stamping on paper or cloth and
cutting it out.
That's what I used on the top right corner
of my notebook.
Here is one part of my craft room
where I put my canvases that
are still works in progress.
My reading today is the famous
Corinthians 13,
St. Paul's exhortation that the greatest
of the spiritual gifts is love.
I chose this background because I could
see someone with her arms out
in a sort of embrace.
There they are!
St. Paul says we may give
everything we have to the poor,
but if we don't have love,
this is nothing!
How hard it must be to love!
It is impossible without
God's grace!
After all,
God is love
and whenever we love,
we are just like a hose
connected to the source of love.
Every week I choose one wonderful
visitor who leaves a comment
to receive an ATC from me.
(I know how much time and effort
it takes to leave a comment!
I love to visit but sometimes,
it is such a pain to leave a comment
because of all the word verification
and different passwords, etc.)
This week Random Generator
chose Eliza of Queenartoypia
She makes really lovely intricate cards
and collects ATCs.
She can choose which one she likes
from the ones above.
Joining the lovely Julia for a
peek at desks and projects!
I love blog parties!
Won't you join us?

ReplyDeleteHI Patsy...These are wonderful and inspirational artworks. Aside from the wonderful mixture of colors, the spiritual message is awesome. I remember going to one of your stores when I used to live in the Philippines many years ago but at that time, I was still in my cross-stitching but I recall how wonderful it was to browse in your store. Thanks for joining us at Word Art Wednesday. God bless, always!
