So many have remarked on how small my desk is,
but I have to confess that my work area is rather large...
especially if you consider that I also use my floor a lot!
I haven't gathered enough courage to show
the extent of my mess in my craft room.
I have absolutely no excuse,
especially since I have a helper
who cleans up after me,
but of course has no idea
what to do with my clutter!
The reading on my journal today
is about the faithful servant who is ready
for her master's return.
She will be rewarded!
In the Word Among Us,
I liked this meditation:
"To get ready for Jesus' return
means to welcome Him
into our hearts at every opportunity.
It means looking at every situation
through the eyes of faith,
trying our best to find
Jesus' presence and His will.
It means assessing
every circumstance in our lives
according to the commands
and promises of the gospel.
In short, it means living
with our eyes fixed on heaven
as we go about our lives here on earth."

We must fix our gaze on the Lord!
May He help us when we fail to do so.
That is a challenging meditation. Thanks for sharing.

I think it's something to do with the comfort zone - to have all your creative tools and ideas gathered around you. Years ago when my father was in the Army and we had daily help,my mother used to tell me that Mrs Vine (the help) wasn't there to tidy after me, simply to clean after I tidied. Good lesson, hard learned!! You'd hate it if someone else tried to sort out your stuff though, huh!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your sweet visit today. My Daddy had a very cluttered desk, but knew where everything was. He was a very smart businessman. I have way too much clutter around. But my heart is on the Lord. Blessings ~
ReplyDeleteNo-one else can possibly tidy up your crafting stuff for you. You would never find it again.
ReplyDeleteAs much as I would love to have some one tidy up for me I know I would hate it really. For me clutter is a sort of comfort blanket. xx
ReplyDeleteI always enjoy a peek at others' studio :)
ReplyDeleteNice to see others have clutter too. Wish I was lucky enough to have someone clean after me. Thanks for sharing a thought provoking post.
