Paint Party Friday: Still Delighting in the Lord!

My second commissioned canvas
is about 20 x 20 inches.
It reads,
"Delight yourself in the Lord
and He will give you the desires of your heart."

I really believe that!

It is almost finished.
I think I want to add a bird on the tree.
What do you think?

And here are some pages from my journal
for today and the past days.
"Without cost you have received,
without cost you are to give," from Matthew 10:8.

Whatever our blessings and gifts,
let us share them with others.

This blind man was healed by Jesus
because he BELIEVED!
How do we grow our faith
so miracles can happen in our life?

"Anyone who hears the Word of God
and acts accordingly,
is like the wise man who built
his house on the rock." Matthew 7:24

Whatever challenges we face,
we will be victorious!
rains may come, floods can overwhelm,
but the man who stands and confesses
the word of God, and acts on it,
will prevail!

Linking with
Blessings,
Patsy

  11. What do you think about adding the bird? If I did I would make it red to carry the color up from the flowers. I think that it is beautiful either way tho- it evokes childhood memories of just being happy "just cuz".

  21. Oh my, Oh my, Patsy! I can't begin to say the words! Why? Because last week, I was thinking of contacting you to commission you to make me a canvas about one of my favorite verses: "Delight yourself in the Lord..."! Please, would you make another one for me, same size?

Thank you! (I'm excitedly waiting for my 2 canvases ~ smile). Have a blessed week,
    Rina
