The Lord Himself will give you this sign:
the virgin shall be with child
and bear a son..." Isaiah 7:14.
Four days to Christmas day!
Have we been a SIGN to anyone of
God's love, faithfulness, joy,
peace beyond understanding?
Have we reached out to those in need
of comfort, encouragement, a helping hand?
Let's be a SIGN pointing to the Saviour!
A few more days to figure it out!
I will rejoice in the presence of our God!
This morning I was singing while painting this.
I wanted to dance too!
Some preppers have been
preparing for the end of the world
because the Mayan calendar ends today.
I don't know about you but
I am excited about today and the days to come!
Not because the world is about to end
but because every day is a new beginning!
If we did not live the way we want to live,
if we were not generous enough,
forgiving enough,
loving enough,
there's always today to begin anew!
Let us spread our joy in the God who made us
and be a sign of His presence in a needy world!
Proverbs 4 says:
"Keep your heart with all diligence;
for out of it are the issues of life."
I thought it was time for a
Christmas Giveway.
Here's an ATC I made

This is so touching, Patsy. I always love seeing your art and having you share with us at Word Art Wednesday. I'm grateful for your comment left, but so sad to hear about the bill that was passed in the Philippines allowing abortion. I know that there are many people there, as in the US and other countries, who believe that lift begins at conception. This is truly sad, and so hurtful to know that these precious lives will be taken before they have the opportunity to live the lives God had planned for them. I do pray for the people of the Philippines, and many countries around the world - that they will know God. I am grateful for Chrsitians like you, and all around the world, who love the Lord and spread His love and goodness to others. You are a light in a dark world, Patsy. Keeep shining for Him.

woops - little mistake. I meant to say "life begins at conception" (not lift). Sorry.
DeleteI think of how in Luke 1 Mary visited her cousin Elizabeth to tell her she was carrying the Son of God, and when Elizabeth heard this, the child inside her (John the Baptist) leaped in her womb. This tells us that John was alive, he could hear, and he was rejoicing in the coming of His Savior - even before he was born. We know life begins at conception. God will keep these babies safe, and they will go to Heaven forever - but it is still so sad. Women don't realize the life-long heartache they bring upon themselves by ending a life. MUCH to pray about, Patsy. I am praying for the people of your country, that God will speak to their hearts.
