WOYWW: May You not be Grieved!

This was my desk when I woke up.
The patchwork notebook
is filled with letters to my only son, Josh.
I started writing him when
he was 32 weeks old in my womb.
He is now 18 years old,
or will be in about a months time.

You may notice the water spray bottle
to the left.
I keep that handy in case my sister Peggy's cat,
Truffles, comes into my house
and uses my living room sofa as a
scratching board!!!!

And here I am, starting on painting
what I want to remember for the day.

I was reading Mark 2:23-28,
where Jesus was grieved because
the Pharisees were so judgmental.

And so my prayer for today is
"May you, O Lord, not be grieved
at my hardness of heart."

One of the reasons Jesus was grieved
was because the Pharisees
wanted to destroy Him for
doing good on the Sabbath!
For healing on the Sabbath!
Sometimes righteous people can be so
absurd!!!!

Every week I choose one wonderful visitor
who leaves a comment
to receive an ATC from me.
I know it takes so much time and effort
to leave a comment
and I appreciate it soooo much!

This week, random.org chose,
I'm excited to say,
#24, the ever popular and witty
Julia Dunnit of
I have not told her yet-
who wants to be the first to surprise her?

Joining the lovely Julia Dunnit for a
peek at desks and projects!
I love blog parties!
Won't you join us?

Sometimes I put on my best pajamas
and party here:

Blessings!
Patsy
