The Goodness of God

Hello 2014!
I'm ready for you!
I did this for week 2
free weekly challenges
to make your planner or diary uniquely yours!

"How shall I make a return to the Lord
for all the good He has done for me?"
Psalm 116:12

I look back at my life and realize how
the Lord has richly blessed me!
I am surrounded by His goodness and faithfulness!

There is a story about St. Francis de Sales'
conversation with the mayor of his town.
"You know Bishop Francis," said the mayor,
"I have so much to do that I just
can't spend an hour in prayer."
Francis responded, "Anyone as busy as you are
needs two hours of prayer!"
I was just listening to the preacher
Leonard Ravenhill on YouTube
and he said that no man is greater than his prayer life.
 A big 18-wheeler truck can't be
powered by Piaggio Ape engine!
We need a power outside of ourselves,
and that can only be accessed by prayer!

Sometimes we cannot recognize
God's infinite goodness
if we do not spend time with Him in prayer!
In the midst of challenges and trials,
we will see God's infinite goodness
if we trust in Him and ask for His will to be done!

  3. Oh, I so agree, but I often forget about the power of prayer and sitting with Him. But I love that He doesn't forget that I need reminding! Love your art and your heart, as always.
