Today I will choose JOY!
Wayne Dyer said, "If you change the way you
look at things, the things you look at
CHANGE."
Maybe things around us look bad,
but we can choose to look at the situation
as a challenge to our creativity,
as a learning moment,
as a stepping stone (or rock!)
to better things!
"Do not work for food that perishes
but for food that endures
for eternal life..."
John 6:27
"Be anxious for nothing!"
Philippians 4:6
One of my favorite verses.
I went through a midnight crisis (sic)
as my mother called it,
provoked by a thyroid problem
some years ago.
I just kept confessing Philippians 4.
After a few months,
I was back to choosing joy,
and being grateful!
Even if there are some mountains in
my life right now,
I look at them as
opportunities for learning and for growth,
and getting closer to God!
Win-win!
I love blog parties!
Won't you join us?
Blessings!
Patsy

True! No matter what happen o us, it is up to us how we should handle them. It helps always to be positive and put everything in God's hands. About your pictures, you are really blessed and a blessing to us!
ReplyDeleteThe JOY of the LORD is my strength! I choose joy. Your pictures are full of joy!
ReplyDeleteIt really is a "choice" every day that we must make or we will be buried by our negative circumstances. Thanks for your encouragement, Patsy!
ReplyDeleteYour artwork, your use of color, they reveal what resides in your heart. You do choose joy. Some are born with it, some learn it. Either way, knowing this is a gift.
ReplyDeletePatsy,
ReplyDeleteYou've inspired me by your gift of art. I would love to do a feature blog post about you. I could present you as "Artist of the Month" at my blog ... http://renee-joyjourney.com. Please contact me at nrmetzler@windstream.net if you're interested.

Choosing joy. My sister and I spoke about it last week. My mother says, "Sometimes you have to make your own sunshine." Your words and art bring me joy!
ReplyDeleteI am so excited that we've been chosen to be in the same SDG small group! I've always loved your art! I too have had some dark days, but confession and meditation of the Word does make the sun come out again, doesn't it? I have also sent you an email with the names, e-mails and blog addresses of the other ladies in our group!
