When I woke up this morning,
this was my desk.
I am preparing for a demo
of how to re-use a Yakult bottle
for a local TV show,
Good News with Vicky Morales.
I cleared my desk up a bit
so I could work on my journal.
This was the background I used to "pull"
my figures from.
This was my desk after I finished
praying and journalling.
Jesus said, "Although you have hidden these things
from the wise and the learned,
you have revealed them to the children."
Matthew 11:25
The meditation in Word Among Us
was quite exciting.
"Children just love to discover and to explore.
In today's Gospel reading,
Jesus tells us that if we want to find Him,
we need to be like little children."
We need to be curious,
we need to be excited about discovering new things,
we need to have a sense of anticipation:
What will I learn today from the Lord?
Let us not grow old in our ways,
but always be eager to learn new things
with the Lord who always wants the best for us!
As a thank you to all you wonderful visitors
who take the time to leave a comment,
I pick one of you every week
to receive an ATC from me.
This week the RNG picked
She chose the lady with one hand
on top of her head
and the other raised in praise!
Wonderful art work as always, Patsy! I love the Scripture verse you've chosen this time, too. Your colours are just gorgeous!

I was reading the same passages from Matthew the other night. That in order to find Jesus, we need to be like little children.

ReplyDeleteThanks for your nice comment Patsy - I wish I'd thought of the idea of using the kitchen roll like that, but I saw Dyan doing it on her videos! I've got so much of the stuff to use in projects now, and just from one session!

ReplyDeleteI stopped by last night right after I posted, but my computer froze and I had to reboot. When I tried, I got an error like a week or so ago, so just stopped until I had gotten a bit of sleep. Congrats to YOUR winner. I didn't know you did this every week. How thoughtful of you.
ReplyDeleteHang on, am I reading this right - you're going to be demonstrating on TV?? Way to go you - how did that come about? I think I'd be too nervous and all fingers and thumbs if I had to do that!! Good luck, I hope it all go well for you....
ReplyDeleteIt was the Pride and Pred with Colin Firth, the BBC adaptation that was filmed at Lacock - when the ladies are shopping and watching the soldiers arrive...
