Jesus asked blind Bartimaeus
what he wanted Jesus to do for him.
Of course Bartimaeus said,
"I want to see!"
Can you imagine being blind?
I am sure we would be willing to spend
an awesome amount of money
just to be able to see!
I know I would!
And so I can consider myself a multimillionaire
a million times over!
Because I can see, I can walk,
I can breathe without dragging an oxygen tank with me,
my heart is beating without a pacemaker,
I can enjoy food,
I have my two hands,
I can paint and draw and sing and dance
(not very well! my friend once said
I dance like a tree trunk!)
I can sweat (it's difficult if you can't!!!)
I have eyelashes and complete fingers,
I am not depressed in any way
(don't need drugs to keep me from jumping off
a bridge!)
I believe in God, I have a wonderful family
and great relationships in and out of
Facebook (ha ha ha!!!)
Ohhhh, the list goes on and on and on!
Thank you to my clever nephew Carlo
for the animated gif!!
Indeed, like Mary,
the Lord has done great things for me!
There is so much He has done in the past
and there's more He will do in the future!
Why just today, someone asked if
I wanted to illustrate a book on creation!
BIG challenge! Will I be up to it, I wonder??
ATCs I was working on last night.
Every week I choose one wonderful visitor
who leaves a comment
to receive an ATC from me.
I know it takes so much time and effort
to leave a comment
and I appreciate it soooo much!
This week,
Random.org chose
#37, Bluebeard and Elizabeth of Altered Book Lover.
Elizabeth is soooo generous with heramazingly detailed tutorials!
I think I shall make her an ATC with a
rocking horse to add to her collection!
Thank you for dropping by!
You are appreciated!
Patsy

ReplyDeleteDear Patsy
ReplyDeleteAnd even when we don't have any of the wonderful things you mentioned, we still have the wonderful privilege to live in our Lord Jesus enjoying Him and reveling in His love. Like Paul reminds us in Romans 8 that there is abosolutely nothing that can ever seperate us from the love of God which is is Christ Jesus oir Lord!
Visiting via Jen's linky place.
