WOYWW: To an Unknown God!

If you find some strange comments below
that do not match my post,
it is because I am learning to use the  Blogsy App
and it deleted my Monday post!!!
Aaaaaaargh! Not a fitting start to my day,
but I will NOT be upset.
It's just a post!

Here is my Wednesday post for
"What's on my Workdesk Wednesday".
I am halfway through my painting
for the day.

This is Helen Keller and what she said
after she met a famous preacher
who introduced her to God!

In St. Paul's travels, he too was able to
introduce Jesus to the people of Athens
who had an altar inscribed, "To an Unknown God".

How wonderful that when the time comes,
we will meet our God face to face
and we will praise Him with the angels!!!

Preparing ATCs for sending out!

Every week I choose one wonderful visitor
who leaves a comment
to receive an ATC from me.
I know it takes so much time and effort
to leave a comment
and I appreciate it soooo much!

This week,
Random.org chose
#26, Margaret, who does not have a blog
and neither does she have an email address
on her profile page.
So Margaret, if you happen upon this,
please send me your snail mail address
so I can send your ATC off to you!

Joining the lovely Julia Dunnit for a
peek at desks and projects!
I love blog parties!
Won't you join us?
Sometimes I put on my best pajamas
and party here:

Blessings!
Patsy

  1. Beautiful paintings! I love the way you incorporate scripture into your paintings. I especially love the one of Lydia.

I, too, have a special place in my heart for Lydia. My call to help middle school youth who struggled with reading came through a dream about Lydia. So, your art about her encouraged me to trust in God's plan.

I am coming by from the Weekend Brew. I love that God is always working to fill us with His peace. The more we have, the more we can give. :-)

  4. You are so right about reading and studying God's Word. Each time, He has a specific message He wants to share with you. It blesses my heart to know that you enjoy reading and studying God's precious and holy Word. I just prayed for you as I stopped by your blog, that He will be glorified through you. You are a blessing to me.

  8. Beautiful, Patsy. Isn't the Bible amazing how it tells a story from history and still speaks into our lives today?

Did I tell you thank you for the ATC I received? I love her! I'm planning something special for her soon. Thank you, Patsy, for the ways you share.

Beautiful message; beautiful art - so many children are sitting in schools and need to know Him, His name and His love - how awesome that God found His way to Helen Keller:)

  31. G'day Patsy
I usually don't get around for WOYWW till Friday as when Julia posts the link I am at work in the evening here in Oz. My day off isn't till Friday then but I'm home sick all this week so here I am just one day late(I couldn't type yesterday due to sore hands and why I am home!!). I see more of your gorgeous paintings and ATC's...love them all.
