"Take COURAGE,
I have conquered the world." John 16:33
This is a very relevant reading for today,
here in the Philippines.
We are voting today, electing senators,
mayors, vice mayors, and councilors.
We are voting for the future,
the future of our children
and our children's children.
Jesus says we will have troubles in the same verse.
We can't escape that!
Sometimes we feel hopeless when we see the list of
candidates, many of whom just have
well known names.
My husband says the only member
NOT running is the family dog!
What are their qualifications?
Do they REALLY want to serve,
or do they just want to work for their own ends?
But Jesus reassures us.
He is with us. He walks with us.
He walks with our children.
He has conquered the world.
"Amen, amen, I say to you,
whatever you ask the Father in My Name
He will give you." John 16:23
Father, in Jesus name,
I pray that you be with our people
as we decide who to vote for today.
May we elect men and women
who will serve our country well.
Every week I choose one wonderful visitor
who leaves a comment
to receive an ATC from me.
I know it takes so much time and effort
to leave a comment
and I appreciate it soooo much!
This week,
Random.org chose
Sometimes I put on my best pajamas
and join these great parties!
Blessings,
