"Is anything too MARVELOUS
for the Lord to do?"
This is from Genesis chapter 18.
Sarah, the wife of Abraham,
thought it absurd that
God promised her a son
and she laughed really hard!
Well, it's not hard to see why she laughed!
She was about 80 years old!
Sometimes we laugh too,
in disbelief.
But it is faith that gives us answers to prayers.
In Mark 10:52, Luke 7:50, Luke 18:42,
Jesus says, "Your faith has healed you."
Jesus could not work miracles
in His hometown because of lack of faith.
(Matthew 13:58).
We can only pray, like the father
of a sick child in Mark 9:24,
"Help me overcome my unbelief!"
so that we can see
the marvelous things
the Lord can do for us!
So we can see
His fingerprints!
I can answer with certainty -- "No! Nothing is too marvelous for the Lord to do." He has done many marvelous acts for me and know He will continue until I'm called home. Something tells me you would give the same answer. Bless you for blessing me!

I really like that story about Sara laughing -- I think I would have done the same for sure! But all things are possible with God -- He shows us that time and time again.
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking up, Patsy. Hope you have a great week!
Nothing is too big for Him, yet I live as if he can't handle what I toss His way.
