"Your Father knows what you need
before you ask Him." Matthew 6:8
Isn't this wonderful?
Sometimes WE don't even know what we need!
We are sometimes so ambivalent about
what is best for us!
"For where your treasure is
there also will your heart be."
Matthew 6:21
We have to be careful about what we value
and prioritize.
What do we spend the most time on?
What do we think about the most?
This is where our treasure is!
Where is your heart right now?
Sometimes we make
idols of the silliest things!
Blessings,
Patsy

I love that word "before." God knows...and yet He waits for us to ask. I love it when my daughters as me for "a favor." It bring s me joy to know they feel comfortable enough to ask. I believe my Heavenly Father gets joy out of us asking, too--even though He knows!
ReplyDeleteYour painting and words encourage me to be more aggressive in asking.
Sometimes I don't know what I want, let alone what I need. I'm so glad I can lean on Him. Amazing how these colors spill from your hands.
ReplyDeleteVery nice collage :o)
ReplyDeleteI like the Bible verse about where are your thoughts/heart. A good thing to remember not to waste our heartbeat on trivial things.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pages, wonderful Bible verses. Blessings, Janet PPF
ReplyDeleteI think this is a question we all need to be asking ourselves very often. What are you spending most of your time doing and thinking about? That will tell you where your heart is. It's so easy to focus on the trivial and neglect the important things.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Charlotte
Good morning, Patsy!
ReplyDeleteI am so grateful that God knows what I need before I even ask. I have visited another blogger that posted about storing up treasures. Your artwork is lovely! Thank you so much for sharing on Think on These Things!
