My desk this morning has a number of things
NOT related to crafting, I am afraid.
There is a cup of ginger tea
and a homeopathic medicine,
Cuprum Aceticum,
for my bad cough.
And then there are the usual residents
that should be cleaned up if I would
just take 10 minutes to do it!
On the floor, I have some
works in progress.
Did some at the beach this weekend
but not enough progress was made.
From my journal this morning:
"Work out your salvation
with fear and trembling."
Philippians 2:12
I'd like to quote from my usual
meditation guide, Word Among Us:
"When was the last time
you were in awe of the Lord?
In a world that urges us
to rush from obligation
to obligation all day
and then zone out
in front of the TV at night,
it can be hard to feel
any fear and trembling.
But it is this experience that
God wants to give us.
"He knows that unless we experience
a taste of heaven in
our every day lives,
our faith will weaken,
and we will lose our motivation to
work out our salvation."
God is always calling us!
"Come, everything is now ready!"
Luke 14:17
Every week I choose one wonderful
visitor who leaves a comment
to receive an ATC from me.
I know how much time and effort
it takes to leave a comment!
and I appreciate that soooo much!
This week Random Generator
chose #32,
Tin of The Average Jane.
Christine is a Filipina too
and because of her blog has
seen ordinary things
in an extraordinary way.
Joining the lovely Julia for a
peek at desks and projects!
I love blog parties!
Won't you join us?
Sometimes I put on my best pajamas
and party here:
Joan at Reflections of His Grace
I always look forward to seeing your work - both the art and the message are so appealing.

Good to see your work and comments - the way Father God is leading you is beautiful. How often, indeed, we race from activity to activity without staying still and Knowing Him.

Hello my talented blog friend. What lovely things you have to show us this week - andalso, your inspiring words too. I'd love to know how you choose the words you show us, what makes you show that/those particular phrase or saying or quote. I'm interested because well, I always have lots to say, but it's never as lovely as the things you say or quote. But I do read and listen to what you are saying.
ReplyDeleteI hope you had a lovely time at the beach with the family - it doesn't matter that you didn't get much painting done - does it? It means that you spent that time with your family or hopefully relaxing.
Big hugs to you Patsy

ReplyDeleteWow! Such amazing artwork. Thanks so much for linking up at Thriving Thursdays. I didn't pin this because I wasn't sure you'd want it pinned, but if it's okay, come leave me a comment to let me know because I'd love to add it to the pinterest board. Thanks again for sharing your beautiful artwork.
ReplyDeleteHappy Very Belated WOYWW. Hope your cough is improving. Spending time on the beach must be wonderful. It is cold, dark and wet here now. We are off to Spain in less than 3 weeks for our winter holiday, and it will be wonderful to see some sunshine. Ali x #63
