I have been painting a lot these past days.
Here are some of my unfinished canvases,
all piled up on top of my drawers.
I drew this on my journal this morning.
"The Lord is my light and my salvation;
whom should I fear?"
Psalm 27:1
Have you ever thought that life is like a dark tunnel?
You do not know what is ahead,
what the future holds!
But God is indeed a light
because when we walk with Him,
we need not be afraid of the dark.
He is a constant presence,
a help, a guide, our strength!
My only son is going to college
next school year.
I am sure He is conscious of
His need for the Lord in
his new adventure!
Yesterday I read about how Jesus
sent His disciples off on mission,
after they had seen Him perform miracles,
heard Him preach and experienced
His power and compassion.
After we have been nurtured by the Lord,
we too are supposed to be "sent".
Let us always be ready every day
to do our best in our "mission field",
whether it be at home, in the office,
at school.... wherever we are sent!
Every week I choose one wonderful visitor
who leaves a comment
to receive an ATC from me.
I know it takes so much time and effort
to leave a comment
and I appreciate it soooo much!
This week,
Random.org chose,
#29, Sandy Leigh,
who is a Downton Abbey fan,
like me!!!!
Thank you for dropping by!
You are appreciated!
