Blessing for the New Year!

"The Lord bless you and keep you! The Lord let His face shine upon you, and be gracious to you! The Lord look upon you kindly and give you peace." Numbers 6:24-26

For this new year, 2017, let us claim the Aaronic blessing for ourselves. Father, thank You for blessing us with all the spiritual blessings in the heavens (Ephesians 1:3). Thank You for keeping us safe, protected and loved. Thank You that Your face shines upon us for You see all our potential, and all the unlimited possibilities open to us this year. 

Thank You for Your graciousness toward us. We do not deserve Your favor, but You give it anyway. Thank You for looking upon us kindly as a Father gazes fondly at His beloved child. Thank You for giving us peace. Even if all around us there is turmoil, and dark valleys, we will fear no evil for You walk with us. 

 

And so we can look forward to 2017 with triumphant hope knowing that with God beside us, no weapon formed by any enemy can prosper against us (Isaiah 54:17).
