Luke 6: 37-38
"Give and gifts will be given to you;
good measure, packed together,
shaken down and overflowing
will be poured into your lap.
For the measure with which you measure
will in turn be measured out to you."
If we are not generous with our
time, talent and treasure,
we will be like the Dead Sea:
because it has no outlet,
no water flows out of it,
it is so rich in minerals that
no fish can live in it.

The water is so dense that
one can float in it and not sink!
This is one reason why my sister Peggy and I
like sharing our joy in creating!
We held a Crafternoon last Saturday
and enjoyed making backgrounds
and making faces!
Truly when we are generous with
what God has blessed us with,
our cups runneth over!
I love blog parties!
Won't you join us?
Beautiful verse, and your art is so vibrant!
ReplyDeleteLove the bible verse and great page. Looks like everyone had fun.
ReplyDeleteThe old saying, "it is better to give than to receive" is so true! When we give to others, (either of ourselves or a literal gift) we end up being blessed in return! =)
ReplyDeleteA crafternoon...I love that word! It conjures up images of joy and laughter, of helping and not being afraid to fail. The ladies in your sphere are blessed with your talents and giving.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing the verse from Luke. I found you on Soli Deo Gloria.
Oh what a fun-filled day you had! As always your artwork is beautiful =)
ReplyDeleteYou are such a wonderful artist. Loving your work. I do wish that I could draw and make things look like I want them to look. #36
