Really slow going on these two collages.
If you want to know why (bad bad girl!),
read my previous post!
The top collage of the girl was made
during our Crafternoon last Saturday.
We had a lot of fun making backgrounds
using stamps, sprays, etc!
Then we traced faces (an easy way to make
faces if you don't know how to draw!)
On my desk this morning,
I'm doing my journal.
Matthew 21:42 reads
"The stone that the builders rejected
has become the CORNERSTONE."
In ancient times, the cornerstone
was laid on the foundation to guide
where the other stones would go.
Christ is the cornerstone
and we need to LINE UP our lives
with His Word!

Blessings,
Did you know that when they were building the temple the stone was sent up early, it didnt fit so was set aside. Once the building was complete they sent word back down to where the stones were being cut, somewhere else because they didnt want the sound of the chisels etc at the temple site, and they were told that it had already been sent up thus the scripture "the stone that was rejected" was the cornerstone. 1Peter 2:4-8 also. Studied this on Tuesday at length. VERY fascinating. Was talked about in Daniel 2:34-35 to 2:44-45,joshua 8:30-31, Psalm 118:22-24. beautiful work!! Thank you for sharing.

You and your sister have definitely made me want to have a Crafternoon with my friends. I probably wouldn't get much work done, though. I'd be too busy talking and eating.

You are quite right about tracing to get something mostly right. I use to go to sleep at night (staring behind my eyes at a perfect replica of what I wanted to draw) when I was having issues with a mouth or the nose and finally got it right. Keep going, I love this avenue. Blessings, Janet PPF
