Raise Up Your Hands

Join me as I do 31 Days of posts,
writing from the HeART!
You'll find other fascinating posts
on The Nester, all doing a series of 31 Days!!!

This is a very interesting story in the Book of Exodus.
The Amalekites picked a fight with the Israelites
and to win, Moses had to keep his hands raised up!
When he would get tired and put his hands down,
the Amalekites would start to win!
So Aaron, Moses' brother and Hur,
supported the hands of Moses on both sides.
The Israelites were victorious!!

The lesson of this story I think is
we have to support our leaders with prayers
and encouragement.
And not only our leaders, but
everyone who is going through a battle
and in need of victory!
If there is an area in our life that needs
victory, then we have to fight with
prayer!

Every week I choose one wonderful visitor
who leaves a comment
to receive an ATC from me.
I know it takes so much time and effort
to leave a comment
and I appreciate it soooo much!

This week,
Random.org chose

on creativity in her blog,

  3. I just read that section of Scripture in my devotions the other day. How neat to see your artwork depicting that story here. :) We certainly do need to encourage each other and support each other during the good times and bad. Thanks so much for your faithful support at Word Art Wednesday.
