WOYWW: We are God's Garden!

When I woke up this morning,
this is the desk that greeted me.
I was working on some ATCs last night
because I'm running out
after giving one away every week to
thank those who take the time to comment!

I left it like this cause I wanted to join my family
while we watched a local show,
"Powerhouse"
which featured my mom and dad's house on TV.

After reading 1 Corinthians 3,
I decided to illustrate verse 9,
which reads, "We are God's Garden."
What, again?
Yes this is one of my favorite verses,
and I love thinking of myself as one of God's blooming flowers.
He is tending me, pruning me so I will bloom,
watering me, and making sure I will be the best
and the most beautiful I can be!

Indeed, it is exciting to know that
God takes the time for each and every blooming flower
in His garden!
YOU are one of those unique flowers God is
lovingly taking care of!

"What is there about His Word?"
Luke 4:31-37

It is His Word that breathes life into us!
It is His Word that makes us bloom!

Each week I choose one from those who comment
to pick an ATC for me to send them
as a thank you!
I so appreciate your taking the time
to comment!
I know how time consuming it can be!!!
This week, # 26 is Joe Dee Luna
She can choose from the ATCs below
(if I can find her!)

 1, 2, 3, 4
 5 Creativity takes courage,
6 Enthusiasm moves the world, 7 Prov. 31:30
 8, 9 Luke 12:34, 10 Bloom
11 Dream, 12, 13 Surrender

Joining the lovely Julia for a
peek at desks and projects!
I love blog parties!
Won't you join us?

Linking up with

Blessings!

  2. I've been gone from this Wednesday madness for two weeks, so it's good to be back and see all your lovely art. Inspirational as always, dear.

BTW, you asked me a question and I never got back to you. But I will find it and return SOON!

  3. I found it! You asked what Cream of Wheat is. It is found in the hot cereal aisle of your grocery store near the oatmeal. I don't suggest using it in granola, because it MUST be cooked, unless you are using it as a resist agent. Sorry I didn't answer you sooner. I've really been experiencing down time, which is not a good thing. BTW, I forgot to mention, I am number 1 this week. Not hard to find!

  20. Love your jopurnal page and the desk looks ready for another work session.
My heart is so full today, I just got a message to say that little Tiani (the little girl with the brain tumor) has been doing very well. At the last scan, there was no sign of the tumor and they could not even tell where the drs had operated. Her brain looks just like that of any normal 2year old! We serve such a great and powerful God. Please join me in thanking Him for this little girl's health.
    Happy WOYWW!

  37. Hi Patsy -

Ha, my craft area is about as busy. Busy is good. There will be time for the "sitting and folding of the hands" when we are no longer able to create. A good friend will overlook your fence to notice the flowers in your garden - in other words, I'm SO GLAD you did not invest all your time into organizing supplies so instead WE ALL get to be blessed by your artistic talents. Way to go.

Hope you have a creative week!

    Barb
